The Story: I've been fortunate to encounter sea turtle along the beach in their natural glory. Growing up along Florida's Emerald coast in Mexico Beach Florida also meant that we would have the female sea turtle coming ashore during the early summer months to dig in the sand to create a nest, laying their eggs at the edge of the sand dunes. This painting was the first of my Sea Life series, setting the tone for more underwater wonders to be captured on canvas. I often go to fans of my Mermaid Sand Facebook page for help in naming the art, and "Flying Through The Waters" was the result for this beautiful turtle.

The original painting is stretched canvas on 3/4" wood and can be framed. The prints are a matte finish on high quality paper, shipped flat or in a tube, depending on size. All items have our 100% guarantee.
